The panelling in this gorgeous Georgian Bathroom is all about detail. The proportions of the panelling were made to line up with the sanitary ware, with the sinks and toilet centralised with smaller panels beneath the sinks and panels curved around the back of the toilet. The Panelling was stepped slightly off the wall along the sink and toilet run to allow for pipes and so providing a useful ledge for bathroom paraphernalia, which was topped with a long length of glass.
At the end of the room a pair of doors was made echoing the details of the panelling, to provide a useful Airing Cupboard beneath the water heater.
Our client had a pair of beautiful ornate gold mirrors which we painted white to really show off their detailing against the gold wallpaper. We also re-finished the exterior of the lovely deep, freestanding bath in gold to colour match.
